1. Who we are
skillence.ai is operated by Arcania AI S.R.L. (operating as Skillence — "Skillence", "we", "us"), a Romanian limited liability company with its registered office (sediu social) at Strada Fântânilor, Nr. 37, Bl. B2, Etaj 7, Ap. 70, Municipiul Iași, Jud. Iași, Romania, registered with the Trade Register (Oficiul Registrului Comerțului de pe lângă Tribunalul Iași) under no. J2024034821000, sole registration code (CUI) 50768324, EUID ROONRC.J2024034821000.
We run an online AI-upskilling school offering live class-based programs for engineers and tailored AI training for teams. You can reach us any time at contact@skillence.ai.
2. What these terms cover
These terms apply to your use of the website, your application to a program, and — once your seat is confirmed — your participation in that program. By applying or enrolling you accept these terms.
3. Applications and enrollment
- Applying through the website is free and creates no payment obligation.
- We personally contact applicants to confirm mutual fit. We may decline an application at our discretion (for example, when a class is full or the program level isn't a match).
- Your seat is confirmed only after we notify you and you complete payment.
- Seats are limited and allocated in order of confirmed payment, not application.
4. Price and payment
- The price of the flagship 6-week program is €490 (2.500 RON), unless a different price is communicated to you in writing before enrollment.
- Payment is due after seat confirmation and before the class start date, by the method we communicate (bank transfer or card).
- Company invoicing is available — ask us before paying.
- Prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise on the invoice.
5. Cancellations and refunds
- You may cancel any time before the class start date for a full refund, no questions asked.
- As an EU consumer you additionally have a statutory 14-day withdrawal right from the date of purchase. If the program starts within those 14 days and you attend, you consent to performance beginning before the withdrawal period ends; a proportional deduction may then apply.
- After the class starts, refunds are not offered except where required by law.
- Refunds are returned via the original payment method within 14 days of the cancellation.
6. Our commitments — and what we can't promise
- We will deliver the program substantially as described on the website, taught by qualified practitioners.
- We may adjust curriculum details, session times, or instructors for quality or operational reasons; material changes before the start date entitle you to a full refund.
- If we cancel a class, you receive a full refund (or, at your choice, a seat in the next class).
- We do not guarantee employment, promotion, or any specific professional outcome.
7. Your commitments
- Provide accurate information when applying and enrolling.
- Course materials, recordings, and exercises are for your personal use only — don't redistribute, resell, or publish them.
- Behave respectfully toward instructors and other participants. We may remove participants who disrupt the program, with a refund proportional to the sessions not yet delivered.
- Your seat is personal and non-transferable without our written consent.
8. Intellectual property
All program materials remain the property of Skillence or their respective licensors. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use them for learning. Projects you build during the program are yours.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from a program is limited to the fees you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Romanian law. Consumers may also rely on the mandatory protections of their country of residence, may address the Romanian consumer protection authority (ANPC — anpc.ro), and may use the EU online dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the version in force when you enroll is the one that applies to your enrollment. We'll post updates on this page with a new effective date.
