Privacy Policy
1. Who is responsible for your data
Arcania AI S.R.L. (operating skillence.ai as Skillence), with its registered office at Strada Fântânilor, Nr. 37, Bl. B2, Etaj 7, Ap. 70, Municipiul Iași, Jud. Iași, Romania, sole registration code (CUI) 50768324, Trade Register no. J2024034821000, is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. 2. What we collect, and why
- Application form: name, email, and optionally phone, current role, and your message. Used to evaluate your application and contact you about the program (pre-contractual steps, GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Contact and bookings: what you send us by email, and the details you enter when booking a call through our scheduling calendar. Used to respond to you (legitimate interest / pre-contractual steps).
- Enrollment and payment: billing details needed for invoicing (legal obligation, Art. 6(1)(c)). Card payments are processed by our payment provider — we never see or store full card numbers.
- Website analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and shows us only aggregated, anonymized usage data (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Marketing: we send marketing emails only if you opt in, and every email includes an unsubscribe link (consent, Art. 6(1)(a)).
3. Who processes data on our behalf
- Cloudflare — website hosting and cookie-free analytics.
- Web3Forms — relays application-form submissions to our inbox; submissions are not stored by them beyond delivery.
- Google Workspace — our email and scheduling calendar.
- Payment provider — processes payments when you enroll (named on the checkout page and invoice).
Where these providers process data outside the EU/EEA, transfers are protected by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
4. How long we keep it
- Applications that don't lead to enrollment: up to 12 months, so we can contact you about the next class — deleted earlier on request.
- Enrollment and invoicing records: as long as required by Romanian accounting law.
- Email correspondence: as long as needed for the purpose it was sent.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us at any time to:
- access the data we hold about you, and receive a copy (portability);
- correct or delete it;
- restrict or object to specific processing;
- withdraw consent (for consent-based processing), without affecting prior processing.
Write to contact@skillence.ai — we respond within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority, ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro), or your local data protection authority.
6. Cookies
The site itself sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and our analytics are cookie-free. Embedded third-party content (such as the booking calendar) may set its own functional cookies, governed by the provider's policy.
7. Changes
We'll post any changes to this policy on this page with a new effective date. We never sell your personal data.
